These are electromagnetic fail safe (power off activated) brake fitted capacitor-start, capacitor-run, squirrel cage single phase & three phase motor.
The RPM available are 1440/2880 and with gearbox, speed can be very low. Depending upon requirement for the connection, motors have lead wires or terminal box.
These are actually Induction motor fitted with fail safe electromagnetic brake to hold the motor shaft after power supply is cut off. Suitable for continuous operation with frequent start stop, minimum overrun & load holding.
